I'm not sure which fake ID to get.?

Question

I need a form of identification proving my age for when I go to New Zealand. I am 18 but I don't want to take my passport out as identification in case I lose it, so I just want something cheap I can take with me.

Before I get a load of messages about how fake IDs are illegal, I am actually aware of that so I don't need any morality lectures thankyou.

Fake IDs are actually legal in some countries if you use them rather than your original ID, to avoid theft.

I have found some sites which are safe and legal, but I'm not sure which one to get.

I would recommend that you take your passport and make 2 photocopies of the back page of your passport in case you loose it.

Also you should leave your details of your passport and leave it with your relatvies or a close friend.

By having fake ID you could be prevented from entering New Zealand. Perhaps you could ask or go online for documentation needed to enter the country.

you will find that only a passport is accepted ID for a foreigner so don't bother with the fake ID

Last time I checked, you have to show your passport not just as a form of ID, but to show that it's ok for you to enter the country. An ID card can't do that.

Just put your passport in a safe place where you can keep up with it and check and make sure you have it often.

just get a official id card from the police dey are only $10 in ireland. theres another site called www.nextdayid.co.uk thats where i got mine

When you arrive in NZ get an 18+ card, they cost $20. I can understand why you wouldn't want to be taking your passport out with you, fair enough and people come on! when did she say that she was planning on entering NZ without a passport??

im 14 and i travel alot. something helpful i have found is to have an airplane identification card, since im too young to have a drivers license. it looks basically like a real ID, but it is used to identify you while traveling.

It doesn't matter which one you use, it will be spotted immediately.

People whose job it is to check IDs are aware of all the fakes and what they look like.

Remember that is their job, they do it all the time.

Just looked at the cards you mention. LOL everyone in the world knows that in Britain we don't have ID cards, so they got to be fake. Ditto European Identity cards, everyone knows the EU don't have one.

Getting a fake ID is a good way to get yourself into trouble.  It's funny that you call a site, safe and legal, when your getting an illegal ID.  I understand that most 18 year olds want nothing more that to be older and drink, smoke or whatever but I think you decision to get a fake ID is not a good idea.  

Sure you might be able to skirt by and not get caught.  But some states will actually suspend your license, do you really want to jeopardize that?

Which countries????? List them because I have NEVER heard of any country in the world which does accept fake ids legal....

I suggest for wot its worth   your passports are in the hotel safe  but you have them photocopied to carry to the beach also driving licence likewise   Ask your travel agent  about the Hotel safe is how safe

surely if you're going to NZ, you're going to need your passport to get in anyway? And anyway, why bother getting a fake one, when you're old enough to drink etc. at 18.

they won't let you in with a fake id either - they're not stupid. And as for "in some countries they are legal" urm nope, because otherwise they would not be FAKE -  just get a student ID card or take the smaller copy of your birth certificate (leave the full one behind, and you can get a copy of the smaller one if you lose it).

But personally, i'd take my passport, as you'd need it anyway, and just don't lose it, and take and leave behind a photocopy. It's not that difficult to get a new one if you lose it, just go to the embassy in NZ.

I would not even bother with any of those you never get a guarentee they will send you anything and not just rob you blind, just find out what other forms of ID they use in new zealand and apply for one of them.

You will need a passport to get out of the country and into another, without one you are an illegal entered person which entails the usual penalties from any police force if caught, the same as carrying any fake identification on you.

Just so you know pink is represented as a fake ID, most people don't know it, that is why they put sites up like that, so you get caught!!  Thats why so many of them are pink.  It is not legal anywhere to get a fake ID, I know for a fact!

All those sites sell novelty ID. So whilst it's legal for them to sell the cards it's illegal for you to use them to prove a false age.

Since they are novelty ID, it could be best to get something that is not an obvious copy of an existing card.

Why bother with fake when in UK now, it's easier to get a real passport, especially if you're not born here.
