I'm off to London next week and looking for things to do of an evening?

We're seeing a show on the second night but are looking for something to occupy us the first night...Any suggestions?

You don't say how old you are so obviously this is a bit dificult but here goes. Apart from the obvious restaurants, bars and theatres..

Walk/ evening picnic on Primrose Hill

Ice skating at Somerset House

Night time trip on the London Eye

Cruise down the Thames

Go to the Tate Modern (museum)

Vinopolis - learn about different wines (and sample lots of them)

London Dungeons/ Tower of London

Outdoor film showing - often in Hyde park

Late night shopping (my personal favourite)

I hope that gives you a few ideas. London is fab city, I hope you enjoy yourself over here!

I would have to agree with the others when they say the London Eye at night. I rode it at night and it was amazing.  Also when I was there we just took the underground to all the big parts of London and went sight seeing and visited a few bars.  We also say the Tower Bridge at night and it was so beautiful!!!

If it is a clear evening the London Eye has the best view of London.  It is right next to the London Aquarium so both would fill an evening.
