I'm on Probation, and am curious about Salvia.

Question

My friend bought Purple Sticky Salvia, a natural herb that's a lot like Sage in a retail store (we live in Ohio), I'm on Probation and checked with the manufacturer and she said it's defintely completely legal. But I'm super paranoid about messing up my probation, I'm in the clear, right?

P.S. I guess people generally smoke it like tobacco or sometimes cook with it

If your that paranoid, why not just ask your probation officer? Get him to say in writing that it is ok.

Then don't use it until you are off probation.

If its not illegal in your state, you should be fine. You could also ask your probation officer and they could probably answer the question for you.

From what I gathered from Wikipedia, Salvia is in the process of getting banned in Ohio, so you may or may not want to smoke it before it's gone. But as far as it concerns you, you're in the clear for now while it's still legal. And of course, no one's ever gonna test for it.
