Question:

I'm on a two year contract and I broke my phone, can I get a new phone and put it on the same contract?

It's been about a year so I have another year still left on my contract, am I able to get a new phone but NOT the same phone? and, do I have to pay for the new phone?

Any help would be much appreciated :)

  1. No dude, somebody will give you a new phone every week, just to keep you happy. So go ahead, crush all the phones in your household and they will give you free iPhones as replacements. Who's they? Well, the aliens, of course.

  3. Look at sources for proof of qualification.

    To quickly answer your question a new phone will not be available to you at a discount unless you have an insurance plan on your phone. If you don't have insurance than full price will have to be paid for a replacement phone.

    As for being on the same contract. Yes, you will be put back on the same contract you originally entered into, but just for good measure you said you were a year into your 2 year contract, go to your nearest service provider or call a network operator and see if you would be eligible to re-new your contract back to another full 2 years.

    I cant determine weather or not you are happy with your current wireless carrier, but renewing your contract would make you eligible for the discounted price listed on the phone.
