I'm on blood thinners and worried?

ok so for about a week now ive been on blood thinners.. i have some clots in my left arm.. so my doctor put me on plavix.. and im also on ortho-tri-cyclen lo birth control.. and today i got my period.. i usaly get it in the afternoon but when i woke up blood was everywhere.. not its my normal period but im still scared i might bleed to much.. im suppose to start a new pack of pills in 4 days.. but if i start them today.. will it stop my period and if it does will i be ok?? or is that not healthy??

  1. yes it will stop your period and i would do it long enough to go the doc about the blood thinners and then stop takin my bc pills again fora few days so you can have your cycle.  And yes it's healthy.  People take seasonale bc and on that you only have 4 periods a year.  With an IUD most people don't even have a period.
