  1. Wouldn't all of us on steroids for similar problems? I don't know of anything effective. Lots of products profess to be effective, but aren't.

  2. there actually are several good natural things for inflammation. fish oil (the omega 3 fatty acids in fish oil) is excellent for inflammation- you need minimum of 1500 mg of omega 3s- and up to 3000 mg is safe.

ginger, boswellia & turmeric are also all good herbals that help w/ inflammation. check your health food store.

    good luck

  3. While fish oil lubricates the bodily systems (lungs, joints, etc) it reduces inflammation by reducing friction, but doesn't actually attack the inflammation like steriods do.  There is no natural product for chronic inflammation that is similar to steriods.  Have you found the cause of your chronic inflammation?  What, specifically, is being chronically inflammed?  That is how you need to approach the herbal that you might use.  You also need to figure out a way to reduce the mental and emotional stress on the body.  Massage is a great way to do that.  Same with a hot tub or sauna, music therapy.  If your body is chronically stressed, you need some serious vitamin therapy, especially if you have been taking steroids.  Get something from GNC (not walmart or the drug store -- too poor quality) and double up your dosages for at least a month, then drop down to the regular dosage on the bottle.  Good luck!

P.S.  Sleep does wonders for the body's natural healing abilities.  This is when the body naturally restores itself.  Many, many organs are healed during a good night's sleep of at least 8 hours.  If you are in chronic fatigue, then sleep as much and as often as you can, even if it is only in 2-3 hours at a time.    Give yourself permission to do this on a mental level and you will feel great after a couple of days of rest!
