I'm painting a primered board with spray on chalkboard paint but it's really windy?

I obviously can't spray the paint inside and my garage is full of stuff. I could try outside but it's really windy today. I HAVE to paint today. What can you suggest I do?

Go to your local grocery store and ask someone who works there for a large empty cardboard box. The bigger the better.You may have to settle for 3 smaller ones and then piece them together. You can get them for free because their just going to ship them away to be recycled. Break the box so that you can lay it out flat on the grass in your yard away from everything else. use 4 large rocks or wooden stakes to pin down the corners. Lay the board that you want to paint on top of cardboard and spray. if you get any over spray the grass will eventually get mowed.
