  1. ~~Every city and state has their own rules, but if the store owner is collecting and handling the sales tax, I sure don't see why you would need one. Your are considered a private artist. The only thing you need to do is keep track of your costs and income for income tax purposes.~~


  2. No, not for crafts, as long as you are not copying designs without consent from manufacturers. You must declare all profits to the authorities (wether or not you've reached the payable threshold)

  3. You need a business license from the city hall that you are based n cost is usually under $75. A business checking account, go to a bank of your choice and they will advise the steps needed and if you are not the one charging the sales tax that's it. If you are charging sales tax you will need a seller's permit obtained from the State Board of Equalization in your state.
