the party is going to be a semi-formal afternoon tea thing, and there will be a dj, but besides that, what can i do to keep my guests entertained? what kind of games are appropiate for adults? something easy that'll keep'em interested... sometimes adults can be harder to work with than children!! thanks so much for any help :)

  1. Strip poker, spin the bottle, dark closet.........just kidding.  Keep some trivia games around, i.e. Trivial pursuit or the like.  For some reason, everyone seems to get caught up in those types of games.  If you are looking for something a little more risque, there are games like Dirty Minds.  No physical acts, but sure to liven up a party with some fun answers.  If not, simple trivia will suffice.  If you have a DVD player, a game called "Scene It" is excellent.  You can get this at your local Best Buy store or toy store.

  2. Taboo, Catch Phrase, and card games seem to bring the party to life. Time flies by because you're having so much fun! Hope it turns out great for you!

  3. Semi-formal afternoon.....

What about lawn bowling, or maybe croquet?

Lots of people think those games are dull, stuffy and stodgy, but they were invented for just the sort of party you are throwing... get outside, play a game, but not so athletic that you wind up sweating all over your good clothes, and they don't call for a lot of strength or endurance so even non-jocks have a shot at winning.

I don't know... on second thought I don't see them working well with a D.J. type crowd...but you some sort of outdoor activity that did not involve breaking a sweat might be a good idea.

  4. if u have a wii ( i do) i would rent or buy the game "smarty pants"

this is a really fun game for ANY age.

    spin the bottle?

dont b boring. and it would help if u said how old u were cuz then i would know what game r age-appropriate for u

  5. Boy cards, board games, and use paper table cloths that you can write on.  Viola' instant party!
