I'm visiting some family in England from August 4th to the 19th. While I'm there I really wanna go to Paris. I know I can take the Eurostar train through the chunnel I've done that before, or I can try and find a flight on EasyJet or RyanAir (spare the criticism, I know it sucks, but you get what you pay for and I'm a penny-pincher).

Anyway, I also want to go to Sicily. It would be great if there was a way I could go from London to Sicily to Paris back to London.. or London to Paris to Sicily back to London.

Thing is.. easyjet doesn't fly to Trapani, only to Palermo and I have my heart set on Trapani. RyanAir flies to Paris, and to Trapani, but not between the 2. The cheapest flight I found anywhere else was on Meridiana.. $553.. and it has 2 stops and takes 18 hours..

There has to be an easier way.. :(

  1. Ryan Air flies from London Luton to Trapani, but they only fly that route a few times a week.

Your best bet would be to fly from London to Palermo and then take the train to Trapani. It's only like 2 hours away, and the train is $27. I'm sure there's a bus connecting the cities as well, but I'm not sure of the site you'd go to get the info.

RyanAir flies from London Stansted to Palermo for like $75.

Transavia, Meridiana & Windjet fly from Palermo to Paris.

You can then either fly back to London or take the Eurostar. I'd take the Eurostar just because by the time you factor in the expense & hassle of getting to and from the airports you won't really have saved much money or time-wise. It's just soooo much easier to take the Eurostar. Plus, if you're a student or youth (I am) you get a discount. Whoo hooo.
