I'm planning an anniversary trip in october 08. should i go bahamas or cancun?

You are likely to get more for your money in Mexico. The Bahamas are very beautiful - but Mexico is just as wonderful. You have many, many more resort options in Mexico as well. I prefer the all inclusive resorts which there are more of in Cancun and Mayan Riviera than Bahamas... and with an all inclusive most of your vacation is paid for before it even begins - and that is a good feeling! :)

Cancun for sure! I have been all around Mexico and a lot of other countries and I have to admit that Mexico was the most beautiful place we visited! If You have the chance also visit Guanajuato and Playa Del Carmen! I would defiantly go back if i could!

I've been to both and they were beautiful. But Cancun is the better choice by far.
