i would suggest possibly a white dress for the bride with black details, and then a striking bright red rose bouquet!

We just had a wedding on June 28th in those colors!!! They are soooo elegant!!!!!

we had a live band so we did a balloon arrangement for the stage:

tables:

black table covers, sprinkled red rose petals, acrylic ice (like in this pic), votive candles and a mirrored glass with an ivy bowl with clear glass rocks and a votive candle holder on top.

for the bridal party table:

we did white covers, the ice, votive candles, minature bottles of asti for the girls with champagne glasses, guys had beer mugs, red rose petals and a white tulle swag on the front of the table with red rose petals inside and lights. then we took the 6 bm's bouquets and clipped them on the table evenly spaced out! it looked gorgeous!!!!

forgot to add that we kept it strictly black and white and used red as the accent color. i have seen too many pics that this color theme can turn into a playing card theme too fast with too much red mixed in with the black and white. I think black and white turn very elegant if you keep it that away! Just my thought and not to offend anyone.

Avril Lavigne had a black and red reception, and although I'm not a huge fan of her's, her wedding was gorgeous. The ceremony was more girly and pink, but the reception was kind of gothic theme and black and red.
