I'm planning on booking a hotel for two in nyc next week, question about ID's?

So i'm booking a double room under my name for me and my best friend but she lost her ID and won't be able to get a new one anytime soon (she has to request for it and pay a fee for the univ to make one again) anyways will this be a problem? can she check in without ID?

does she have any other id ? like passport, green card, driver license whatever ? it doesnt have to be college id.

My friend, if she has her state issued ID, that's not going to be a problem. However, if she's an international student, the only item she will need is her passport.

Your friend doesn't have a driver's license?

I've been riding the subway since I was seven years old, and even I have a driver's license. They're not going to let you check in without photo ID.
