I'm planning on getting certified in teaching, what's a good, marketable certification?

I didn't major in math or science in college, and I have no experience with special education. I don't know if I can still certify in them, but what is desirable right now?

If you could go back and do math or special education you will definatly get hired right away.

I am certified in Elementary (1-6) and Mathematics (7-12) as well as Reading (1-12). This combination is extremely rare and very desirable, hence why I did it.

Anywhere in this country, an individual with a certification in Math/SCI or Special Ed have better opportunities than in other areas. General ED, Social Studies and English are areas where there aren't any need for teachers...
