  1. To the UK from where? Europe, USA, Asia? USA to UK, yes with some restrictions, www. tsa.gov. Of course this only applies to the PLANE not the plain. The rules from UK to wherever you are going may be tougher. Believe it or not some countries have rules that are more stupid than ours. I know that's kinda hard to believe but it happens.


  2. Interesting question.  My guess is - no.  Too much like carrying a fencing foil onboard.

  3. For your flight from the US to the UK the answer is yes.  You are now allowed to bring knitting needles, crochet hooks, and the like on the plane per the TSA.  

    You need to check with the UK's equivalent of the TSA to see what their rules are regarding bringing your knitting on flights that originate in the UK as their rules may be different.

  4. Nope , My grandmother tried and they took the needle and her knitting too .... We traveled to london. She was soooo upset.

  5. No cause the knitting needles might be considered a lethal weapon.
