The board is straight and has 7 holes in it. There are 6 pegs,3 red and 3 blue. I need to get the blue pegs on the red side and vice versa. the pegs can only jump pegs of the other color. Help?

  1. Ok, the pegs will be numbered by the hole it's in and the color of it. (R=red, B=blue)

The holes are numbered 1-7, with 1 the number for the first hole and 7 as the number for the last hole.

If a hole on the board doesn't have a peg in it, I will only put the number of that hole.

The board I type out will show where the pegs are. It does not show where one peg ends up. So, all you have is make the board look like the one I typed out (within the game rules, of course.)

    So here's the board:

    1B  2B  3B  4     5R  6R  7R

    1B  2B  3B  4R  5     6R  7R

    1B  2B  3     4R  5B  6R  7R

    1B  2     3B  4R  5B  6R  7R

    1B  2R  3B  4     5B  6R  7R

    1B  2R  3B  4R  5B  6     7R

    1B  2R  3B  4R  5B  6R  7

    1B  2R  3B  4R  5     6R  7B

    1B  2R  3     4R  5B  6R  7B

    1     2R  3B  4R  5B  6R  7B

    1R  2     3B  4R  5B  6R  7B

    1R  2R  3B  4     5B  6R  7B

    1R  2R  3B  4R  5B  6     7B

    1R  2R  3B  4R  5     6B  7B

    1R  2R  3     4R  5B  6B  7B

    1R  2R  3R  4     5B  6B  7B

    That's pretty much it.

(There's another method, which is pretty much the opposite of this one.)
