Question:

I'm playling lacrosse next year. Which position do i play?

I'm 15 years old, I'm a pretty big kid 6ft2 225 pounds. I'm pretty strong, I bench 225. I run a 5.4 40-yard dash (from football) and I run just under a 6 minute mile. From playing around in my friends back yard with a net i have a pretty fast shot. I dont think i'd have the endurance for midi and i would like to just hit kids all day on defense. I dont have good enough reactions for Goalie and it just doesnt seem like a fun position lol. So which position should i play?

  1. hit up the D.  you get a real long stick to beat the c**p out of kids with.  plus you're huge for a 15 year old.  you will have a great time running kids down and plowing them over.

    goalie is no good.  why would ya want to stand in the pipes will balls are being fired at ya like you're target practice?  

    and you may be pretty quick, but I think you would be better off on D then mid or forward


  2. mmmmm try attack or defence attack is fun cuz u can still score goals and have all the perks or being a midi without the running but u sound like ud be better at deffece since ur bigger.and u sound pretty fast too

  4. d**n, you're built. If I was your size, i would have destroyed varsity lacrosse.

    Play defence. I played middie, but I'm only 5'9 170, and not as strong. Your size and power are gonna be a real asset to your team on D. You get to tank kids, and you can still go for a run at the net if you have the opportunity. Defense all the way.
