Question:

I'm postal illiterate! Help!?

Lol ok, this might be a really silly question, but my Mum wont reply to my texts and I've never sent a parcel before.

So yesterday I went to the post office and bought one of those pre-paid postal bag things. Now I'm ready to send it.

Do I have to take it to the post office, or can I just put it in a post box?

Thanks =]

  1. If it is prepaid you can put it in a postal box - if it fits. If it doesn't then you will have to take it to the post office.

  2. if it fits in the post box you can just send it - but it is better to hand it over the counter and they will put it strait into the bag for you.

  3. Yes you can just put it into the posting box, it will be collected there and taken to the sorting office for onward transmission.

  4. I would take it to the post office just in case you might not have suffiecient postage in which case your parcel will be returned to you ( for insuffiecient postage).Mail and parcels are usually weighed to ensure you pay suffficient postage.I suppose the exception would be a standard letter which would have a set amount of postage due.I hope this helps.

  5. Go to the post office is the best choice

  6. you can call and ask:

  7. Take it to the post office :)

  8. why didnt you ask at the post office when you bought?

  9. You have paid for it.

    So you can just send it.

    You do have stamps on it though aye.
