I'm pregnant and my husband out of town a lot for work.. i feel so depressed and like sad .?

I work all day long so that keeps me busy.. but i want my nerves to stop i can't eat right or sleep.

Do you have a pet?  I know it sounds like a simplistic answer, but perhaps a dog or cat would really keep you company.  My husband was going out of the country frequently for awhile and I got a dog from a rescue when I was pregnant.  She really helped my feel more secure at home and made me feel less lonely.

as a military wife i can relate. My husband left for war when i was pregnant with our first, and now AGAIN with our second... and i too get depressed, but like you are doing already, keep busy and try to not think about it.  Simgle mothers go through it all the time, and they dont have the hope of knowing that their hubby will be back soon... or like other military wives who go with out their man for months, or in the Army thats years.

Write down a journal of all your feelings, that you think you would want to share with your hubby once hes back, that should be something to look forward too!

Pregnancy can make your emotions go crazy, you have a lot of extra hormones in overdrive. Some women get depression while pregnant, or after giving birth or both. You should talk to your doc/midwife about it, and maybe they will have some suggestions if they think you might be more than just a little depressed.

Be glad that it's just for a week. I'm 30 weeks pregnant, and my faince is currently at work in a different state. He is coming back on monday then leaving again on friday. He might not even get to be here for the birth of our child.

All you can really do is stay stay strong and keep yourself surrounded by friends and family. It's very hard on my also. He is missing everything of the last couple monthes of me being pregnant. I'm due August 14th. He even missed the last ultrasound!
