I just recently was diagnosed with ADHD Inattentive. I've been doing research and feel that Adderall is the best option at this time to maximize my potential. My psych has me taking 36mg time release. From what I understand time release should work throughout the day, but by noon, I'm so tired and feeling lethargic and just wanna go home. And I'm craving food, which makes sense, cuz I tend to do that when I don't feel well. Anyway, I have a lot on my plate currently. I ride my bicycle 5 miles to work, (don't drive) work 8 hours on my feet all day in retail busy store with placing product and helping customers and working with fellow employees. And then I ride my bicycle home 5 miles, I will be starting a full schedule in college (first year attending) in a month. On top of this I am artist in my freetime, and very creative, very active, when I'm not riding my bicycle I'm at the gym, when I can get the drive to do so. I just have a hard time getting motivated and if I do start a project it's so easy to not finish, walk away. And I just get frustrated always seeing my unfinished work. And Concerta just is not doing it for me! I tried talking with my doctor, but he's just not convinced, he would prefer to put me on Wellbutrin (was on it about 4 years ago). But it will be a good 3 weeks before I start feeling the results. The only reason I was on Wellbutrin before was a misdiagnosis as Bi-Polar. Even tho I do understand it can help with ADD, I just feel something more specific with greater results. I'm just feeling up in arms and am frustrated and just feel I am done wasting my time on this! Any suggestions? Thank you :)...and sorry if it was a bit of a rant!
