I'm pretty scared of getting a root canal, yes or no?

i'm not yet sure if i even need a root canal, yet but my molar is killing me. orajel wont work or anything else. it throbs so badly. should i get the root canal? or is there another, easier, less painful situation??? please.

i'm in the same stituation. see your dentist and see what they recommend. i had a filling on the tooth and he said if it got worse a root canal would be necessary. so the next time i go in i think i'll jus get the root canal. jus so there's no more problems.
