  1. No you shouldn't start it.  Don't try skateboarding, especially if you're 30.  Try airsoft instead or hunting.  Are you really that bored that you want to try skateboarding at age 30?

  2. Its not a bad idea at all.  if ur up for it, go ahead do what feels right for you.  its never too late to try something new, even if u just try it.  Anyway, why are u asking people for their opinions?  Your going to end up doing what you want anyway right?

  3. If you want to try skateboarding, then by all means do so. 30 isn't too old at all, and if it's something you are interested in, I think you should go for it. I'd make sure you get all the protective gear that anyone who skateboards should be wearing.

    Good luck and have fun.

  4. Bad idea dude. My cousin is about 35 and was real good skating when he was younger but broke his leg on a halfpipe when he tried picking it up again. My uncle however is 40 and can still do handstands on skateboards while they are moving. But he only does that like once a year to show off. I dont think its a good idea. You should put the Tony Hawk game down and start playing Grand Theft Auto 4. You could learn alot from that game and re-enact in real life. Much more fun.

  5. One of my teachers had a husband who passed away as a result of a skatebording injury. He suffered some sort of massive head injury and he also broke his spine.

But that was also a freak accident, or atleast I think it was.

  6. I dont skate, I'm jsut not balanced anough and would fall off easily. :B

Age shouldn;t stop you, age is no limiting factor to skatboarding, unlessss you're pushing like 90. Haha.

Try it, see if you like it. Seems like a fun hobby. I'm sure you're not the oldest new skater.

    That's hot though. ;D

    Good luck!
