  1. I had many baby chicks, and after then hatch take them out of the incubator and put them in a wide (meduim sized) box with plenty of towels to keep warm. They will definatly not be lonely, specially because they have eachother. Good Luck!

  2. What type of birds are these?

  3. After they hatch, they need to be under a light for several weeks. Give them some low dust bedding for warmth and comfort. They will eat and drink alot, more than you would think. They will not be lonely if they both live, two are fine. Please make sure you have a plan for the other one if one dies, they do need each other for warmth. When they start to hatch, do not help them, this could hurt them. Have fun and love those chickens!!!

  4. Well if they are already hatched they don't need to be in the incubator any more. They could be ready to go outside and play trying to find food. They won't be lonely but you could put them in a cage and sit them outside in the cool evenings for a while. But never in the heat of the day.

  5. yeah im answerin cuz you asked me to.okay no they wont be lonely because they are together.if it was one then they would be lonely.you should keep them in a rubbermaid or tupperware container at least 12'' by 12''.but when they get to be full size u need to keep them in a spare room or sumthing big like a inflatable swimming pool.

  6. its best if you also have a heat lamp till they are like a month old,and don't let them outside till they are like 2 months old.....when you do let them outside watch them and if they starts just sitting there and fluff up,it means they are cold and need to go back inside, one important thing to do for the first few days after they hatch,is you have to check their bottoms every morning, and if there is p**p on it carefully remove it,this is VERY important because it can cause them to get constipated, you can remove it by making the chick stand in warm water and then carefully taking it off,but be really careful cause you can actually rip holes in their skin and its not unheard of for people to actually pull some of the insides out,and that would kill them, and also DON'T use news paper or anything slippery for bedding because it will cause them to get spayed legs.....

  7. They need a "brooder". A place where they can stay warm and dry, with no drafts. I cover mine with a towel or old pillow slip.   They need a source of heat and must maintain a constant of 100 Fahrenheit.  You can feed them chick starter  sprinkled on the floor of the brooder for the first few days and make sure they have enough fresh water everyday.  To teach them to drink, dip the bill very carefully in the water, then sit them upright.  They must not run out of food either.  You can make a brooder from a cardboard box.  I use newspaper in the bottom for the first few days because they will eat shavings etc. instead of food.  The paper must be cleaned everyday!!  Cowgirl is right on.  You must clean their bottom if they get blocked.  I use an old disposable rag and warm water.  I don't dip their bottoms in water because if they get too wet or chilled they could die.
