I'm reading the Twilight books TOO FAST!?

Question

I just got all 4 books 3 days ago, & I already finished the first 2 & I'm in the middle of the 3rd... =(

It's not like I'm obsessed, it's just that when I read something I feel like I need to finish it in one sitting...

It's like I'm in the middle of a TV episode & I leave right smack in the middle of the show when I put the book down

I need to slooow down... HOW?

Really i don't think it is possible. Everyone including myself had that problem if you feel you are reading them to fast try to read them over it takes a little longer.

I felt exactly the same way!  I read each of the books in about one or two days.  But I was able to take short breaks now and then at the end of a couple chapters.  I noticed that throughout all the Twilight books there is a point about 3/4 of a way through the book where most af the action occurs.  Once I hit that point there is no hope of putting the book down!  If you look out for that point in the book, a good place to stop and take a break would be right before it.  Hope this helps!  :)

take a break after a few chapters of reading, that's what i do. i dont really think its possible to slow down your words read per a minute unless you stop reading for a few months.

I did that too lol.

I ended up having to read them all over because I didnt absorb everything.

but the second time round I made myself only read it after 5pm.

let me tell you it was hard to do.

but mostly its just self control.

but if its a great book then dont hesitate to devour them all as fast as you can read them!

I did the same thing. Went through all four books in about 1 1/2 weeks. Just pace yourself by reading only a few chapters a day.

Hahaha....I had the same problem. the only suggestion I can give you is to read them like lightning the first time around simply because you know you can't help yourself. Then read them a second time, it'll be a little easier to take it at a bit of a slower pace because you aren't dieing to know what's going to happen next. Good luck. Try to get some sleep if nothing else....=P

I read them all in one week, I did however, buy the next one before I finished the current, so that I could contine straight away I loved doing it that way.

The twilight Saga is awesome, Can't wait for midnight sun, she will eventually finish it, her pride is just a little bruised.

So don't worry you can read them again and again and again I've started again taking it more slowly this time and soaking everythin up.

It's great.

hide the books. or go return them and buy them when you finish one book.
