for high school already!

*what are some things that i can do to get ready for freshman year?

*where can i find some cool looking binders and stuff like that?

* and if you have any advise ... share it please

you shouldn't have to keep your opinions to yourself to make friends, those friendships turn out to be meaningless

just be yourself and you're bound to make friends

Advice? Well...

Don't be uppity. Remember you were the top of the food chain in 8th grade, but there's bigger fish, or some such thing. As much as I hate to have to say it, know your place.

Be nice to people. Well, I really shouldn't have to say that one either, but yeah. Just, don't act too cool, and be nice to people. Agree with people a lot and you'll make friends. Keep your opinions to yourself and ask other people about what matters to them.

Try not to let it get to you. Remember that the politics of high school basically isn't real life, and in fifteen years none of these people who think they're the kings and queens of the universe will be.

theres nothing you can really do to get ready for your freshmen year, its alot of fun.. just try your best and dont do anything stupid

you should go to walmart; staples; office max to find cool binders and stuff

you'll be fine, i promise. here are some tips that may help you get through the "rougher" times of your year:

1) always smile- smiling shows you're friendly and you're open to people for conversation. smile at people and teachers.

2) dress to impress- don't change your style for the first day of school or throughout the year. wear something a little nicer for the first day, but that's it.

3) have good posture- don't walk in a room slouched over. sit up straight in your seat and walk standing upright.

4) have confidence- if you get the chance to stand up and talk about yourself the first day in a room, do it right. get up and smile and look people in the eyes, even if you don't know them. it will show you're friendly. you could practice this at home before you start school.

5) smell nice- spray a hint of a cute perfume on yourself before each class. =)

6) act comfortable, even if you're not- this one's hard, but you have to do it. don't go up and talk and keep saying "uh" and such.

7) be kind- if you see someone who is lost or needs help, help them. that's how you make friends.

8) be active in school- me and my locker partner became close because of fbla. i met so many upperclassmen and such being in a club. sports are also really good because you will find people with comon interest.

alright so im a sophomore so i know what its like and it wasn't all to long ago.

to get ready...

enroll in sports maybe?

make sure u have some clothes

binders...

your local office supply store

office max  staples

....maybe not binders but sometimes borders has cool stuff

think about carrying a tote or small purse (popular at my school)

get one at like pac sun or like american eagle

advice

pay attention and try to get good grades (having a good future is very important)

not brag about doing stuff (drinking, drugs, etc.)

don't eat cafeteria food everyday

don't freak about your first day (its a real breeze)

you shouldn't need a folder for every class (especially not a binder)

maybe one binder and three folders.
