So I'm really interested in Robotics. I want to know how I can build one, how it works, how to program it.

But I have no Idea How or Where to start ??

What do I have to know in order to get started into Robotics ?

Any Tips ?

Is there a school out there Where they can teach me about Robotics ??

You know, Where they can teach me how robots work, how they're programmed, How I can build one. ALL for a cheap price.

& if I'm going to build a robot it's going to have to be all by myself. Because up to this day I have yet to meet someone who is interested or in the field of Building Robots.

Are there Any websites on the web that teach me How I can build my Own Robot step-by-step ??

That tells me What are the tools, wires, programs, that I need.

& Where I can buy them in order to build my own robot ?

BTW if it matters I'm almost 15.

  1. There are robotics kits you can buy that give you a good introduction. One you might want to check out is VEX, at www.vexrobotics.com

Also if you find others in your school that are interested in robotics, you could talk to someone about starting a robotics club. On that front, check out FIRST Robotics (link down below).

  2. Doesn't matter that your 15, I was young too when I learned to play with electronics.

Go to radio shack, they have books on basic electronic.

Read it and if there are any other issues basic II & III.

They also have a kit, 300 in one electronic projects.

These are a great way to learn, very easy to understand.

I'm not sure if they still have them, but on the internet you can get what is called a "stamp" it's a simple input output controller.

Some even have a servo connector, the ones you use for RC cars and airplanes.

This is a BASIC stamp if you look to the left there are more choices http://www.c-stamp.com/products.htm.

    Have fun.
