  4. It's one of those names that I don't love and don't hate. I think it's unique and original. I like the names Jenna, Janelle, Jeanetta, Jayda, Jaylee, Jiona(G on uh), Jade, Jessa, Jessilyn, Jessalyn, Jessie, Josephine,Jenica, or Jia too. I like J names too. J is a cool letter!

I think that when you name a child, you should remember that he or she will have to use this name all of their adult life.  My parents gave me a "boring" given name and a uniquely spelled nickname based on it.  All of my friends and family call me by my nickname, but it's terrible to use for business because of the different spelling, and as a child I never had anything with my name spelled on it correctly.  I have switched to using my given name at work, etc. to make life easier.  My suggestion would be a given name, for example, "Joyce Erica", that could shorten to Jerica for a nickname, but would also give options for the child later in life.
