I'm really nervous about starting high school??

Question

Can anyone give me advice on what it is going to be like and things like that!! I start school in 3 Days (August 13). Nervous about going to a Bigger school and not knowing everyone!!

CHILL i was in your shoes last year! i was so freakin nervous! I found out there was nothing to be worried about.Just don't act like your all that and a bag of chips because you don't want to get the older kids on your bad side.Actually you should make friends with the older students so you can have all kinds of friends.I had an awesome freshman year! i got to meet alot of great new people.

Bahahahahah I start grade nine on the 28 which is a thursday then the next day theirs no school :D.

Dont be nervous. It's not really how you would imagine it, making friends is easier than you think. Don't worry, be happy!

if there was one thing i wld change about my wonderful && i do mean wonderful times in highschool i wld have even more outgoing

if you are nervous put those feelings way deep down inside of you and be who you are RAISE HELLLLL!!! have fun esp freshman get away with anything so TAKE ADVANTAGE meet everyone jus be nice smile when you want to ast like yourself

The great thing about high school is that the classes aren't like middle school. In middle school, everyone knows everyone who is in the class because they've been the same classes for the past 3 years. In high school, its big enough that some people know some of their classmates but they don't know everyone necessarily. So there is always a "not knowing everyone" with all students starting high school. When everyone is going through it together, its not so nerve wrecking and its easier to meet new friends.

Typically, high school consists of 6 classes. So there was only one extreme circumstance where I knew everyone in the classes on the first day and my best friend was in all my classes. It never happened before or after that instance. The benefits of a big school is wonderful. Its easy to meet new friends because everyone is meeting new people. And its okay if you don't know everyone. People don't talk about each other as much.

9th grade teachers understand how you're feeling so they'll watch out for you for the first few days. Don't worry about it. High school is FUN and new friends are always wonderful and appreciated.

Trust me freshmans always get jumped on the first day or first week of school im going to the 10th grade take my advice always be READY TO RUN!!!

just be yourself. try not to be so nervous. it will be ok. i was the same way when i was in school. you don't want people to make you their prey. be confident and talk to be people. don't isolate yourself. i think you will do just find. keep your head up and the day will go by so fast.
