In the past month there has been 3 times where i feel very dizzy, my lips go numb along with my fingers and feet, and i start to cry and hyperventilate. This leads, most of the time, to me passing out. and the scary part is, afterward i don't remember any of it. i also get massive headaches for the next day or so What is wrong with me? I'm 15. I've told my parents and they think it is nothing. Therefore i cant go to the doctors till i convince them its something more.

  1. Should Be Panic Attacks...U Gotta Relax And Take It Easy!

  2. what! how could your parents not be worried? you really should see the doctors. It kind of sounds like the attacks my sister gets.. she gets numb all over and dizzy and can't move.. but she doesn't pass out. She has blood problems and was low on iron. anyway, it's worth a doctor's visit.

  3. do it @ school or in a public building--then you can go to hospital for sure.

  4. ok drink allot of water and eat good meals they should work .

go  and breath the weather out side walk a little bet .

drink a medicine for the a dizzy head.

  5. at 15, your in highschool, so get a senior to drive you to the doctor's

  6. Panic disorder possibly.I have that as well.I got panic disorder when I was about 10.i have most of that except the passing out part. There's many things you can do to control it,try before it gets too far.Try meditating, doing yoga or belly dancing,do imagery, emerse yourself into a situation that causes it SLOWLY,deep breaths, counting to 10,or distract yourself

  7. this happens to my bf. he goes dizzy then blacks out for like half an hour or ten min, sometimes an hour. then he wakes up and doesnt know what has happened.

i tried to convince him to go to the doctor but he thinks its nothing.

however, it IS serious and scary, so i think you should go to the doctor about it.

  8. anxiety or panic attax

  9. Be persistent, having numbness in any part of your body for no reason is not normal. You might want to have an MRI or CAT scan done by your doctor. If you still get no response from your parents go to your school nurse and tell her whats been happening and ask her if she can talk to your parents. I'm not a doctor, but a concerned individual who fears that you might end up having more serious problems if you hit your head during these passing out episodes.

  10. panic attacks... you need to chill out

  11. Your parents suck...haha i'm sorry but they do.

You need to go see a doctor. Must find some way to convince your parents that you need to see one. Maybe you should go to the school nurse and explain what is going on and have her write a note to your parents?? maybe that would convince them if she wrote what COULD be wrong with you?

  12. Speak with your parents again, let them know of the symptoms and then seek medical advice from a qualified medical practitioner.

  13. see a doctor.................

tell ur parents ur health is at risk.

    Either that or.....

    Eat cheese :D

    I like cheese.

  14. Sounds like a panic attack.  Panic attacks are usually connected to traumatic events and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).  You should go to a regular doctor to make sure you are diagnosed properly and to rule out other conditions.

If you are unable to convince them, show them a bunch of research on the internet about panic attacks or fainting.  If that doesn't work: can you make an appointment yourself, bring the insurance card you have (if any), and have someone else drive you?
