I've been sick and my Mom has been really mean recently. I dont know what it is but I've had the worst headaches and I've been throwing up a lot. So she knows I'm sick but she makes me go to my grandma's house, because there was a family get together. So we get there and I'm feeling ok, so i go swimming. But then I get in a fight with my 15 yr old guy cousin who smacks me across the face, then my brother-in-law wont let me hit him back. Then something i said made my older sister cry...I cant even remember what I said. One minute I was talking to her then it was like I was mad at her about something. It was weird it was like i had a mood swing. So I got yelled at for that. Then after being there for like 9 hours I started to get really sick and dizzy so i asked her if we could go. Then she just started screaming at me saying that she would be ready when she was ready and to leave her the h**l alone. I think she was drunk. So, since I really wasnt feeling good I called my Dad to come pick me up and he took me to his house. Now this morning i tried to call my Mom to see if she wanted my dad to drop me off. But she answered the phone once and hung up on me. So now she wont answer the phone. What do I do? I still dont feel good and I wanna go back to my Mom's house.

  1. Tell your dad whats up.  See if he will talk to her about it.  If he doesn't want to get involved then you could try yourself.  Wait until you think she is in a good mood.  Be careful, unless you want to move out of your moms house, make sure social services doesn't hear about this.

  2. If your mom won't listen, talk to your dad!

  3. Sweetie, when we are teen we have lots of mood swings because of  the influence of the hormonal surge in the brain. It is very hard on the emotional side and on the physical side too. Everything annoys us. I do not know for sure but probably the headaches come from stress.

For a parent, who knows what is about to come with the teenager phase, it is also a very stressing time, on top of the normal stress of making money, dealing with personal unsolved issues (that every adult still have) and raising a family.

This phase will pass but meanwhile try to stay by yourself and relax. If you are in an environment where there is lots of things going on at the same time, try to find a calmer corner for you.

Explain to your mom that you understand what is going on and that you will trying to calm yourself down to better deal with this phase. You will see that with this conversation, things will get better between you both.

Things will get better.   : )

  4. If you feel that sick, aware your mom that you can be taken away and put into an orphanage for not paying attention to you and allowing u to stay sick.

  5. kick ur mom in her balls for being a *****

  6. aww hun thats horrid :(

your mum is being totally irresponsible towards you!

it sounds like your dad is a much more resposible adult, id stay with him if i was you x

  7. I understand the need to go home, but honestly, why would you? Your mother is acting like a child, she needs to call you and apologize. She had no right to treat you the way she did.

But if you feel that you need to go home, have your dad drive you home and come into the house with you to support you while you talk to your mom.

  8. Do what you feel is best...

  9. Look at this from your mothers perspective... you tell her you don't feel good, but you feel good enough to go swimming... she obviouslly knows your getting into fights with your cousin, and its just stupid for you to want to hit him back anyways. But there was obviouslly something said that tempted him to smack you. Then you make your older sister cry. Then after you have been doing nothing but being a brat a starting fights all day long you ask to go home. I would yell at you too. If you really felt that bad you could go lay down...its your grandmas house... people who don't feel good don't go around getting into fights...they are quiet and they sleep. So then after fighting and tormenting your mom about leaving you call your dad because you didn't get your way. Your mother is only human and she is probablly mad at you...weather she knows the whole story or not you owe your mom an apology...tell her you are sorry for whatever made her mad at you... then tell her you didn't feel well... but I'm sorry hun, this story makes you sound like a brat.

  10. Sounds pretty dysfunctional to me. Was you mother's behaviour (and drinking) the reason for the marital break up?

  11. stay with ur bst freinds dat works bt giv yo parents time to de stress

  12. Get your Dad to talk to her and sort something out.

  13. Sweetie it sounds like your mom may have some problems. Whether it be alcohol or mental, she definitely needs help. To me it sounds like she is mistreating you! If you're sick, which it clearly sounds like you are, you have to go to the doctor! Tell your dad to take you or another family member. I'm sorry things are not good at home. It can be very hard being a young person, I know, I was one! So my best advice to you is try to talk to your mom about getting some kind of help. You do not deserve to be mistreated in any way. Good luck honey!

  14. Have the school nurse make her call the doctor or tell her you need to have her call 911 right away anything to wake her up and take care ofher kid! G'luck

  15. it sounds like all the stress is getting to you and making you feel all weid and in pain the best thing for you right now is just spend some time by yourself to get all of your thoughts together. Something relaxing would also help a lot

  16. How long have you been sick? and second if its been awhile you need to go to the doctors....have your dad take you if you can...then call you mom later and tell her your sorry you just havent been you and not feeling well so you went to the docs...I know thats hard but apologizing first to your mom might help her get over it good luck! sweety hope you feel better!
