I'm redecorating my living room?

Question

So far I've added a camel colored armchair and revamped my loveseat with a matching slipcover. I also have these new ikea tables (a coffee table & side table) in black.

I want to add a pop of color so it's not a bore so I figured I could add color with new pillows, drapery or in candles. I want sophistication, nothing too childish. What colors go well with the taupe & black theme I've started?

If you like orange that would work well.  Personally I hate that color and would probably go with purple.  I read somewhere that purple is one of the 'in' colors right now.

I would go with black drapes, and put the color into pillows, like maybe a strong, deep red or burgundy.....but where is the taupe? You said your armchair is camel colored, which to me isn't taupe....??? And whats on the floor of that room???

I like a nice pale blue with taupe/camel and black.

when re-decorating home, bedroom or any other room, always try to choose colors according to feng shui. in this case you will activate powers of 5 elements (water, earth, metal, wood and fire) and support all your lucky "areas" - this will attract love, romance, wealth, money, prosperity, luck etc etc

I have a zipped folder which contains 80 photos I have collected from the internet,

very nice home decorates.
