Because it is disgusting and saying he was a bad person. I know he was a n**i but he didn't really have a choice back then...

I was just wondering if anyone knows if I could actually get aurthority to get it taken down? I asked my parents and they said no.

  1. Start writing a whole lot of letters and make sure your arguments are legitimate, backed by facts, objective and well-documented. The reason, simply enough, is that their arguments are legitimate, backed by facts, objective and well-documented. Just because you don't like what they say doesn't mean they're wrong, nor that their story should not be told. It does mean that you have to fight them in their arena--with facts.

  2. Your parents are right..NO

  3. No. Not as long as it is correct in what he did. It is a fact of life and you will have to learn to live with it. Many of us have ancestors we aren't proud of, but you can't go around trying to blank out part of history.

  4. Actions speak louder than words.  I assume this display is based on his actions.  Unless you can prove those weren't his actions, you have no choice but to disavow him.

Take the lesson to heart, too.  It is your reputation that survives.   You should protect your own reputation and make sure no one has ill to speak of you.

By the way, which Robert Matthews were you speaking of?  The only one I found who was a n**i died in 1984.

  5. You have absolutely no say in the matter. Let sleeping dogs lie.
