I'm relocating to Birkenhead at the end of September and...?

...will be looking for work in Liverpool/Birkenhead.

Can anyone tell me who are the best agencies or employers in the area? I do mainly office based work, customer service, IT, import/export...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I live on the Wirral and I am sure you will be able to get work in an office quite easily.  There is an agency called Workforce based in Birkenhead and they are very helpful.  Do not be put off by anyone telling you scare stories about Liverpool or Birkenhead, yes it has some problem areas, but it is certainly no worse than any other city and in some ways is a whole lot better.  The people are  great and are very friendly.  Good Luck.

no but i could help pay some rent. i am in usa in sc and want to live and share rent with non druggie hellraiser. i am infirm (heart and diabetic) just do the computer and hope to pick up some writing. ex newspaper professioal with mba and last connected with ny newspaper. weak, cannot bear riots and noise and could pay a half share if not too much. need privacy and tend to have problems sleeping some months. too hot in sc. right now. educated mba and spent most of career in west. very eclectic views, moderate, radical, conservative, philosopher but generally resting and taking medsand visiting the doct to ujpdate meds etc. like the arts britcoms. perhaps a older borther or grandfather figure. disease free just bad ticker. a touch of diabetes. struggle with tempationto fix wonderful food. photographer, good guitarists until hosefire took out lots of equpt. if i got me strenth back could work part time. talented at my craft. very talented just weak. must lose moe weight to get strong they say. working on it. email me. if ou are a decent person. like religious people. not sure about me. maybe buddist. white of brit stock goiong back to 1000 ad. from yarborough co. family left from liverpool before us civil war. abot all i know. funny but family fought on both sides. strange world. more forught for the south -- and lost. oh well. the were able to live in poverty and farm and grow patches of cotton but no slaves or plantations. yadda yadda yadda.

There'll be plenty of work, you'll not have any problem as Liverpool is full of thick, jobless people, Id be more worried about getting a good locksmith, security firm and better insurance for home and car than worry about a job.
