I'm researching car passenger safety - what's the scariest thing thats happened to you as a passenger?

I was asleep in a car,when i woke up suddenly as i was hitting the roof of the car, as we making a roll or more of a flip we landed facing the way we had come from but still going backwards at speed .After hitting a brick wall and a street light which feel on the roof of the car we finally ended up sat in a telegraph pole.

Damage to car was all wheels had collapsed roof had caved in with street light sat on roof and  all windows where broken as well as all panels smashed in.Damage outside was bricks had been thrown through a parked caravan which was one day old also bricks smashed through a wooden garage door.

Damage to me hand punched through window due to a sudden stop by wooden telegraph pole ,glass also still in hand now and left with plenty of scars,Glass scars across body,small part of ear missing,more of a lump now,and eat that much glass tongue has battle scars all across it also.

my friend thought he was funny driving at  over 100 mph in a narrow street lined both sides by parked cars, it was dark and he thought he was going to impress me with his new merc estate, in fact it had the other effect whereas l hate his driving so much l didn't get chance to notice what the car was like, l  took up his offer to drive the car back, and it is truly a nice car.. when driven correctly

In high school my stupid friend forgot to tell me that he was stoned when he took the corner at 60 plus miles per hour and hit the side of the wall................well I am here and the last I heard he is in prison....

Our people carrier has been hit, by two vehicles behind, the centre one had a weak body and took a lot of impact. When the insurance case was processed, other drivers denied being there or having no knowledge about it.

I was a passenger in the backseat of a car than ran into the back of another at about 45 mph, as the driver was too busy looking for her cigarette lighter, and my unrestrained girlfriend  and her 3 month old baby daughter that was sitting on her lap went through the windscreen, and died. I was in the middle of the backseat, and saw as they went through the windscreen. There was nothing that we could do to save them after the crash. It was like the crash test where the mother and baby slam into the windscreen, except they went through it and died. I still have nightmares about it, and it's been about 10 or so years since this happened.
