What types of plans have you chosen and why?

My husband and I are already on AT&T, but to add 2 phones, we will need to re-up our contract for 2 more years, and I'm not interested in doing that.

  1. Just stay away from Cingular!  They have the WORST customer service in history!  And I had to call often because they always messed up my bill.

  2. Maybe you could try a prepaid phone for a while to see how it goes. I have ATT and I love it, in the end its a good deal bc you can add additional phones for $10each and you can get unlimited text for the whole family for $30. Just shop around on the internet. Dont go with sprint though!

  3. Oh teenagers... be careful:)   i remember my first cell when I thought 400 minutes would be enough. Wow I was wrong! Make sure they don't go over their minutes, whatever company you choose. I have been with Sprint for about 12 years and the reason being, they have the cheapest plans.  Check this site out. They have great deals on phones and plans for all carriers. You can compare plans, phones, and coverage to find what is best for your youngsters! Good Luck!

  4. i chose the plan i have because shandy told me to get a cell phone, so we have a verizon family plan. i think you should get the kind you can watch tv and go on the internet with. it shows you love them more if you get them the best and most expensive phones.

  5. i think they both should have iphones, all the kids have one.

..i think they require att&t, though.

  6. I have Verizon and could not be happier!!! I had at&t or cingular first and wanted to hurt someone every time i called in!! There customer service is horrendous and barely there at all.  I now am on the Verizon family share plan and have always been given a great deal and never had a single issue with them. They also have great coverage and in 3 years i can safely say i have NEVER dropped a call and no i don't work for them i am just a fully satisfied customer.
