I'm running for Freshman Representative in student council & i need some ideas....?

Poster ideas, speech ideas (!), and any tips would be most appreciated. I've never done anything like this and am very nervous, especially about speaking in front of the whole school, I get very nervous with stuff like that, but i REALLY want to win, and am determined to get elected. So any kind of help please.

get a slogan that rhymes w/ ur name and for ur speech do a rap. it'll be stuck in every1's head. hand out dollar store sunglasses and write in sharpie on the side vote for .............(whatever ur name is) get ur friends to influence their friends that ur not necesarily friends with to vote for u
