What questions doy uo think they will ask me so I can prepare.

  1. Keep in mind "why you want to do it", "why you think you would be good at it" and "what your faults are".


  2. They will likely ask you things like why you want to be captain and what you think you can bring to the squad.

    You should tell them all of your cheer "qualifications" (ex. I was selected at camp as the most spirited cheerleader, I made the all-county team last year, etc.) but don't be obnoxious about it.

    Your personality will be more important than those things in the ultimate decision.

    Just be sure to answer honestly.

    Don't "campaign" for the position.  There is nothing more annoying than someone saying "will you vote for me, do you think i'll get it?"

    That shows a lack of confidence- a good leader won't doubt herself!  Accordingly, speak with confidence and clarity when answering questions.

    If you seem nervous about running for captain, no one will have faith in you to run the team.
