I'm running vista, I want my search bar to show history of what I have searched before.?

I was told to go to my history button but I can't find how to do that. I can only find the delete history button. I want my history to drop down like Google does. What can I do? thank-you

You are not clear as to what search bar you are referring to. If you go to any search web site and do a search the terms are all saved using the autocomplete feature. By default it is on and will be the same for every box on a form or search.

Searches entered directly into the URL box are not save. That only shows saved web sites.
