  1. Yes i am very sad. I started Really feeling it when the flame in torch was gone...I guess i have to wait until 4yrs....:(.. but until then my memory will be ok.

  2. i'm pretty bummed. we have to wait another 4 years and then everyone forgot what happened last time. Well not everything but still. I guess I'll just have to look forward to the winter olympics

  3. I am sad it's over. I think it's enjoyable to watch and I think it should last 3 weeks.

  4. im sad! The olympics are something i always look forward to. Absolutely fantastic olympics we just witnessed. I cant wait for London!! Im saving up so i can go watch them there in 4 years!! Whose with me???!!

  5. Yes, I am.

But I guess I feel sad when the Olympics start because I know they will only last for 2 weeks.

My excitement begins almost as soon as the leap year starts.

  6. Just watched the closing ceremony, and I'm all verklempt.  Nothing much on regular TV will make me cheer on someone.  I actually jumped up in the air when Lezak beat Bernard on that first relay and jumped around my living room.  Maybe my football team winning the Super Bowl could compare.

I love it because when else do I really get to see swimming, or track and field on TV?  Or be happy when someone from another country wins something?

There's just something special about them, I can't pinpoint it, and I want them to last another 2 weeks.

  7. I am too! Considering that the Summer Games comes around once every four years, they should make it at least three weeks! It's heartwarming to see all the nations competing and getting along with each other. I tell you, I'm suffering from major Olympic withdrawal!

  8. I'm really sad! Although I didn't enjoy the 2nd week as much as the first, these Olympics were great and went so fast! So many amazing things happened. I'm also looking forward to the Winter Games in 2010, but I really only enjoy the figure skating so the Summer Games mean so much more to me. Sad to think they only happen every 4 years. That seems so far off!

  9. I did not see the closing ceremonies yet.

I can wait another 2 years before Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada, has the winter games in 2010. Can't wait for competitive figure skating.

It is sad that the Beijing games will be over, but I am glad that China had almost as many medals as the United States. And I am glad that Li Ning was the olympic star when he lit the torch in the opening ceremony. I used to love him in gymnastics.

I hope the gymnastics scoring controversy is over when these games are all over..........

  10. Yeah I'm sad :(

I can't wait till the closing either.

  11. "I'm excited to see the Closing Ceremony though! It's going to be great..."

  12. Not really because I have a lot more olympics to watch in my years.

  13. I'm actually really kinda sad too! I'm gonna miss it, there's just something special to me about Beijing, the olympics there, than anywhere else. I dont know why, but I'm going to miss it dearly! The ceremony was awesome! Wish I was there :[

I wish someday they'd have the olympics in Beijing AGAin, and hopefully I can be able to play some olympic tennis, too :]

Gahh school starts tomorrow so i think this is also why i'm feeling sad. hahah. ♥beijing

  14. yea im sad but i cant wait for 2010!!!!!

  15. I wish it ran a little longer.  The olympics is the only time where I will watch a sport I don't like.

I Think It Should of Went A Bit Longer.... But It Was Exciting To Watch....
