I believe I went through a past-regression experience earlier today and I hated it. I'm kind of scared to go to sleep right now because of it. If you'd like to know what I experienced, please go to the below link;

Anyway, how could past-regression or paranemia (sorry if i spelt it wrong) have an impact on you later on in life if you're not aided by a professional? I didn't purposely try to do it, I just saw a past life. I know it was from my perspective because of the feelings I experienced; I was crying hysterically and hyper-ventilated because I was so scared and affected by it. Could I go through such a terrifying experience again if I were to try and figure out more about what happened? Is there a special name for what I am, if I am something indeed? Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

Thanks in advance.

  1. From what I understand you need to be very very carefull b/c people have had what they THOUGHT was past regression expreiences that turned out not to be.  The mind can play tricks on you...seek a professional to help you work it out.

  2. Well, you could see a psychologist or talk to some one about what you experienced. If it's a repressed memory, then you should definitely talk to family members and maybe a psychologist.

    If you are certain it was a past life experience, you should talk to people who believe in past lives, or else you'll only get people trying to convince you that you are wrong. And if you are not wrong, then that "solution" isn't going to help. See if you can get in contact with the local Wicca community. They can usually point you in the direction of a reputable psychic who can explain a little bit about your experience and make it less frightening. If nothing else, this is the ONE person who won't tell you you're crazy. If this person demands a lot of money (more than $20, and even charging you at all for help would be a little fishy to me, but we all gots to eat...) then thank them politely and move on. They aren't who you need to talk to.

    I personally don't have any past life memories (that I know of) or any particular interest in them ( I was probably a dog or something for the past 10 of them), but I know people who are very interested in their past lives and this is the course they recommend to other people.
