I'm scared i'll get rejected for ANTM?

Question

I have all the requirements to get on... im 5'10... i'm 125 pounds... im naturally thin. um.. but i have stretchmarks. im scared that they will not choose me because i have stretchmarks. Am i wasting my time? Should i not go to the casting call?

Don't go on that show because it gets you nowhere. If you think you have what it takes to be a model, go out and work for it. You'll have a lot more success and a lot more satisfaction, knowing that you succeeded on your own.

You may as well try. Statistically speaking it is unlikely that you will win, but the opportunities along the way are great. Worst case scenario is that you don't get in, and all you do then is go home and move onto the next part of your life. Give it a shot if modeling is what you want to do.

You know how Tyra Banks is always talking about how she's always had some cellulite?   Stretch marks shouldn't disqualify you.  If you want to be a model, though, you should talk to a modeling agency .

You should definitely try it!! SOOO what if you have stretch marks a lot of people have stretch marks i don't think that thats really a good reason for you not to go to the casting call. There's always a posibility that you could get in. If you really want this you're not going to let some stretch marks slow you down from pursuing ur dream =)

SOO many people get rejected. There are like, thousands of people who try out! Look, the chances are you are not going to get it. And stretch marks will not help your luck.

But even if you don't make it, you will be a stronger person! Rejection is a part of life, and don't you get to meet Tyra and stuff? :]

dont worry theres cream from avon that actually helps stretch marks disappear or fade away in time. you sound great and perfect for that just try your best and if you get shot down its just not the right time and you can try next season! hope to see you on there

dont worry bout it hun i have stretch marks but i went to a macy's modeling casting call and they said i have such a great personality and every thing that i was great..i also have stretch marks on my legs and butt. and they said not to worry about it...i ended up doing a photo shoot with them and i got a few pictures in their fall catalog.

You should try, because theres always still a chance you can make it. Don't give up just because strech marks, its not that big of a deal!

your not wasting you time! Last year a plus size model won the competition so can you! The only thing I would say is to be yourself, she always says that when she is finished interviewing the contestants.Go to the casting call and give it your all, be confident!!

you shouldn't be scared that you'll get rejected or not because there's a billion of girls that go to cast calling. but if you do do it, you'll know you did and you'd be proud of yourself and more confident! at least i would.. but then again, i think ANTM is so.. "icky" now. :(

if you want to be in that industry, there's a high chance of a LOT of people not liking you. and a lot of doors might get slammed on your face. should that stop you from reaching your dream? No. i want to be an actress, ive got rejected twice. But when i tried out for somthing else, one agent out of like a hundred loved me! they key is to never give up! if some one doesnt like you, who cares, try out again and again until they do or try somewhere else. what one person doesnt like, another loves.
