  1. I have teenage daughters 15 and 12 that went with us last year to Cancun.  We were with a large group of adults except for them. They met lots of teenagers their own age.  You must be careful.  A couple of boys told them that they were 16 and turned out to be 20.  My girls had the sense to not leave to resort thankfully. However, I did meet the some of the other teenagers parents, and I suggest you keep that in mind.  They still email their friends that they met.  I will say they were not too excited about the ruins, but did love snorkeling and one absolutely loved scuba in the cenotes.  My 12 year old wasn't allowed to scuba yet and just snorkeled, but my oldest could.  The depth of the cenotes is shallow and she first learned in the pool at the hotel. Shopping was fun, they they learned to bargain and then walk away.  They thought it was funny how the people followed them after they told them no that was too high, and the shop keepers would make other offers. Everything they bought was at-least half of what they first offered and sometimes only 25%.  They truly enjoy Cancun and the beach.

  2. There are always kids your age there. Some are internationals and are very easy to meet.I'm sure you'll  have a good time relax and give it   a chance. It's easy to meet around the pool or the beach. From what i've seen kids want to meet kids so be friendly and if they think your a creap so what , you'll never see them again anyway. It's their loss.

  3. If you are going to a resort area, I'm sure you will meet other young people  who are vacationing there.  Just be wise and careful and do not go off alone with people you have just met even if they are close to your age.  Stay close to your parents.  Hope you have a great time.

  4. you would, just be careful.  Mexico is cool i go there is a lot of nice people.  Just don't go off very far from your parents.  It  be better if you had like a cousin your own age going there so you won't be alone.

  5. depends where you're going....if it's alittle pueblito...i dont think you'll enjoy it that much, but if it's a beach or a city, well u'll find things ro do and places to go.
