  1. Remember what Christ said; "Don't let anyone mislead you" Matthew 24:4

    ~~~
    What you are scared of is a prediction from man about something that Christ said NOBODY knows when it will happen . . . not even the Mayans.
    Don't be scared, but prayerful.
    A lot of things have to happen before the end time comes and will probably take longer than 3 years to transpire.
    But whether it happens tomorrow or 1000 years from tomorrow let Christ be your Shield, Comforter, and Savior.
    I am sure you will find comfort in reading chapter 24 of the book of Matthew.
    Be Blessed Dear Sister in Christ:-)
  2. nah nobody know's when the world ends only god does i dont want to scare you but you know these chain mails htey aren't real cuz nobody know wen ur gonna dye but god u should know that by now.
  3. In Reality,  the world ended a millennium ago.  We are living this episode through the dreams of another.  We have been given this gift of time so that we may learn how to use time effectively.  So, make the best of it and remember: Always choose LOVE.
  4. Scientists and other religious freaks have predicted the world would end on random dates, yet they've all been wrong.
    remember y2k was supposed to happen? never did
  5. Be not afraid.
    Ever since the 6/6/6 (June 6, 2006) End of the World scenario did not pan out, the scare mongers have been touting the 2012 End of the World scenario. When 2012 does not happen either, I am sure they will think of something else.
    "But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come." (Mark 13:32-33)
    Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready.
    The early Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. Only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns.
    The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus' advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren.
    Do not worry about the end of the world. Trust God to make sure everything happens to plan. Just be ready to meet God at any time.
    With love in Christ.
  6. oh my gosh!! i always think that too. and it freaks me out.
    but i guess we will see what happens :(
  7. The world will end in 2012? How could anyone know that? Even the Bible says that no one will know when Jesus comes back (and he's coming back before the world ends). The only way you can be at peace about this is to know Jesus personally because he's the one who will keep you from destruction. It doesn't matter if the whole world is falling down around you if you know you are safe with God.
  8. Agree with first answerer.
    Lmao.  My grad year, too.
    It's not true.  It's on the Aztec Calendar because they ran out of ideas and stopped the world in 2012.
  9. If the world does end that year you do not have to worry about going to college or finding a profession. Start worrying about those things./
  10. "The Hopi and Mayan elders do not prophesy that everything will come to an end. Rather, THIS IS A TIME OF TRANSITION FROM ONE WORLD AGE TO ANOTHER. The message they give concerns our making a choice of how we enter the future ahead. Our moving through with either resistance or acceptance will determine whether the transition will happen with cataclysmic changes or gradual peace and tranquility. The same theme can be found reflected in the prophecies of many other Native American visionaries from Black Elk to Sun Bear."
  11. dont worry they say this all the time
  12. Just think, you do not have to study at all.  Is that good news or what?
  13. God d**n it! We're going to spend all that money on the olympics, humiliate ourselves then die...
    Cheer up, there have been many "the world is ending!" statements and predictions and yet we still live. Don't go worrying about it. Enjoy life, there's plenty of time to be dead.
  14. Anything can happend to anyone at anytime. If you have Jesus in yur heart, you dont need to worry of anything.
    The Bible says that mankind has a problem, and that problem is called sin.
    Sin = fear.
    Sin is any action or attitude that falls short of God's perfect standard. Every one of us has the problem of sin (Romans 3:23). And the Bible teaches us that there is a consequence to sin - sin separates us from a holy God (Habakkuk 1:13). In fact, the Bible tells us that end result of sin is death (Romans 6:23) and that there is nothing that we ourselves can do to solve the problem of sin.
    Second, the Bible says that there is a solution to the problem of sin, and that solution is the person of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). The Bible tells us that God loved us so much that he sent Jesus, His only Son, to die in our place (John 3:16). Jesus paid the penalty of your sin so that you would not have to be forever separated from God (I John 4:10). The Bible also tells us that Jesus is the only solution for our sin problem (John 14:6).
    Third, the Bible demands a decision. It is not enough to just know about Jesus Christ and His death on the cross for you. You must choose to put your trust in Christ, to receive this free gift of salvation that God offers (John 1:12).
    All of us have the problem of sin. There is only one solution to the problem - the person of Jesus Christ and His death on the cross for us. Every one of us must decide...
    What will you do with Jesus Christ?
    You must make a decision. What are your options? There are only three possible answers to this question:
    1. To say yes, to accept God's free gift of salvation by putting your trust in Jesus Christ.
    2. To say no, to reject God's offer of salvation. The Bible says that those who make this choice will spend eternity separated from God in a place called h**l.
    3. To say maybe, to try to put off the decision to a more convenient time. The Bible does say that God is patient, wanting everyone to come to the point of accepting His gift of salvation (II Peter 3:9). But none of us is promised that we will be here tomorrow, and because of this "x-factor" of death, trying to put off our decision by saying maybe automatically puts us in the "no" category.
    So, in reality, there are only two answers to the question, "What will you do with Jesus Christ?" To accept His free gift of salvation or to reject that gift.
    Let me ask you, "What have you done with Jesus Christ?" If you have never accepted God's offer of eternal life, I can think of no better time than right now (II Corinthians 6:2). If you would like to say yes to Christ, you can do it right now, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. Join me in our prayer room to talk to Him and invite Him into your life.
    The invitation is open - you can accept the gift of salvation and get rid of the sin in your life. It doesn't matter what you're doing or what you've done. The offer is open to everyone.
    If you've come this far, you probably realize you're about to make the most important decision of your life.
    Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." He also said, "whoever comes to me I will never drive away."
    So if you ask Him, you will be accepted.
    The way believers talk to the Lord is through prayer. Your prayer should be your own, from your own heart to His. If you're not in the habit of praying, though, you may need an example.
    An example of such a prayer may go something like this:
    Father in Heaven,
    I know that I am a sinner
    and need forgiveness.
    I believe that Your Son Jesus
    died in my place,
    to pay the penalty for my sin,
    and rose again for my salvation.
    I want to turn from my sinful ways,
    so I now ask you,
    Lord Jesus, to come
    into my life as my Savior
    and my Lord.
    In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
    The Bible says, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." So if you have asked Him into your life, and believe He died to save you, you are a Christian, bound for Heaven.
