Question:

I'm scared of getting hurt?

I'm terrified of getting cut by scissors, or impaled by knives, falling from a tall building etc. Often if I see a sharp object, a picture of myself being cut by it flashes through my mind.

The problem is that it makes me want to cut myself/fall etc to sort of "get it over with".

I'm wondering if other people feel like this too, and what the best course of action would be? psychiatric help? meds? (yuck)

I am NOT depressed by the way, nor do I get any enjoyment/attention from hurting myself.

  1. Ya, you don't really have a problem you are just a bit paranoid, which is a natural part of life. Just try to not picture them as sharp objects but useful tools of everyday life.

  2. I know of folks that have had feelings like this and ended up having problems see if you can go see someone in a health clinic a mental health clinic this is something that you have to resolve.

  3. you may think this odd, you have brought this from a past life where you were probably killed with a sharp object. do a regression or meditation, to find out where it came from, you may need the help of a good hypnotist, or you can buy good cds to help you.

    good luck
