I have found 2 wood spiders in my bedroom in the past 3 days or so, and I'm extremely scared of them, and I just killed a big one. I'm scared to go to bed. I have to bug sprays either. What should I do!?

  1. I borrowed this from another website.

    --------------------------------------...

Anything that contains lavender or lemon. Spiders detest the smell of these.

my bedroom window is right next to the garden and if i left it open for

about a hour...even at night i would always find a huge spider on my wall!

It sounds stupid but i had some lavender bubble bath in the bathroom so i used an old toothbrush and like dabbed bits on the windowcil! then used a bit of lemon!

No spiders since! i can leave my window open all the time!

and if its hot and sunny...it makes the room smell so fresh and fregrant!

  2. If you have windows in your room, keep them shut at all costs. My mother insisted on opening my windows, the last spider I found was so large my boyfriend refused to let me see it before he killed it, he was convinced I would start crying. I'm not a big fan of spiders, and now I sound like a huge wuss. I'm fine with anything else in the world, but show me a spider or something else with huge legs and I become a 10 year old girl.

And those wood spiders... ugh. Those are evil.

  3. Sleep in another room for tonight and get some bug spray that you could use tomorrow.

  4. I believe the only lethal spiders in the United states are black widow's and brown recluses, brown recluses usually prefer damp cold places, while black widows are not extremely common to find, so don't worry.

By the way, a couple years ago I woke up to find a centipede crawling around on my pillow, I didn't worry or lose sleep, so don't worry.
