Well, I'm not exactly scared but well...I'm starting school soon, and I have to drive there and back now. I drove there and back today no problems. It's just that I really don't feel at ease while driving. Like, I'm scared the car in front of me is going to suddenly stop or something. I love driving; I just don't really feel comfortable on the road. I'm all anxious, paranoid, and nervous. Will this go away with time? Did you feel like this at first?

  1. you will get over these feelings as you gain confidence<

  2. I absolutely felt the same way when I started driving. It will get better with time, you just have to keep driving. Give it a month or two and you'll be fine. I'm still very cautious when I drive, but not as anxious.

  3. Everybody has fears, some small, some big. In this day and age we are so conditioned to fear everything, from a spider on the floor to the world at large. We fear change, we fear beginnings, we fear endings, we fear living and we even fear dying.

Fear can be all consuming, so immense and so paralysing that it keeps you stuck within your status quo for decades without ever moving forward. The more time that elapses the worse the fear appears to get.

Don’t let fear rob you of the opportunity to succeed and grow in life.

What people don’t realise is that fear is a normal part of life and essential if you want to live to your true potential.

If you have set yourself a goal and failed because you were paralysed by fear – don’t give up! That’s the very nature of goal setting. When you venture into new territory it’s inevitable you will come face to face with your own personal fears. The key is not to run as fast as you can in the opposite direction but to face the fear head on and believe me, it’s never as bad as you think it’s going to be.

  4. lookie here, i'm 25 and i just got my license 2 months ago. i'm currently taking officials driving lessons.  just take it easy.  i was scared but kept telling myself that everyone else on the road had to learn the same way.  ty to play some relaxing music like enya or something.  it will go away.  you can also read psalm 91 for God to protect you.  noone will do anything to you.  just look straight.
