I'm scared to go back to work..help!?

I was at work doing the cashier...And these 2 guys (looks like they're in their mid 30s) kept staring at me for awhile, and eventually they came over and started flirting with me, and asked me for a nite out with them...I told them no, that I already have a boyfriend. Plus Im 18 and nott into guys that much older than me.

They kept being persistent, and trying to persuade me to go out with them...I told them no and to please leave the store. They finally left the store..later on that nite when i was closing up, i was walking to my car and i saw heard some noise and they came up behind me, grabbed my arm, and started making gross suggestions to me..and started touching me all over.

I screamed really loud and made a fuss so they panicked and ran off. i was so shocked and ashamed i didnt want to tell anyone...now im afraid to go back to work, what shud i do?

Go to work.  When they show up again, let your boss know they are there.  Try to do what you can, within reason, to keep them there.  Call the police, and when the police and tell them the two creeps who assaulted you the other night are back.  By the way, did anyone else see them in the store or hitting on you?  And do you know if anyone saw them assault you?  This will be very important when these rats go to jail, so you can keep them there for a long time.  Then they will be the ones who get gropped by men they don't like, LOL.

You Need to tell the cop!!! Go back to work tell your boss to go over the tapes of the store for you can find these Guys you really need to tell for the cops can find them it can happen to some one Else.... you need to be brave and do it!!

That would sooo freak me out! Is there a manager or someone else around, or are you alone? If you see them again and you're alone, I'd call the police and report them as harrassing you. And have some pepper spray with you just in case. It's good you screamed, so they should think twice about bothering you again. Good luck!

Tell your employer of the incident... ask that you be escorted to your car at the end of your shift... THEY must provide you with a safe working enviroment.... the parking lot is within that domain.......make a ploice report... you owe it to others....also the police can be on the look out for them just incase these slime bags use the same MO at other establishment....go to a sporting goods store.... and purchase a MACE/pepper spray and carry it in your purse. Try to leave work with other employees.. don't go alone to the parking lot at night.....

First of all....

file a report of the incident AT work.

Note the times, and if the store has surveilance cameras, ask them to copy the tape for future.

Second......

file a police report.....and make sure you make all detailes.

This is definately a case of harassment, and if they touched you, they assaulted you.

GO TO WORK...do not let this incident deter you from working.

However, use better than commone sense...park as close as you can, and ALWAYS have an escort to your car, when you are leaving.

This might be an isolated incident, BUT, if the morons were goofy enough to do it once, they will likely do it again,,,,,

Don't throw your job away because of some scumbags.

But if they EVER come back again, you need to tell your manager then make a police report, pronto.

Also, you should start having your boyfriend or parents come pick you up from work... or have someone you work with walk you to your car and wait for you leave at night to insure that never happens again.

Tell  your parents, work supervisors and they may have to call the local  police department. Do you have a male relative: brother, cousin , father, uncle or even ask your boyfriend to come pick you up from work. That would keep them away. That is harassment and it needs to be stopped.

If it's really major, tell the police and they will handle it. Otherwise, I would suggest that you don't close up the store, or have a friend walk out with you. And by not closing the store I mean have someone else do it, or someone else do it with you. Buddy System!!

1) Report it to the police.  It was, at the very least, a sexual assault, perhaps even attempted rape.  Your store probably has security cameras; if they still have the video, the cops may be able to identify them.

Calling the police is a must. You can't play around with that. Talk to your boss, and work out a schedule to where you will not be alone at night. Especially while cleaning or walking to your car. Purchase some pepper spray and keep it on you at all times. While it won't seriously injure them, it may buy you enough time to slip away.
