I'm selling items to people in Mexico, do they pay VAT tax?

Do they have to pay a VAT tax... or does NAFTA mean... they don't have to pay it?

  1. No you can't charge VAT on sales to Mexico, it's not an EU country so exports to there are exempt.


  2. VAT is charged in Mexico on many consumer items. The rates run 10 to 15%
