I'm selling my house to pay back a debt which is in collection ,will the creditor collect thier money at the ?

  1. No.  That would only happen if the creditor already had a judgment to place a lien on your home.


  2. The money from you house will remain yours. The debt collector will have no right to take any money from the sell of the house unless you give approval.

    However, its best to speak to a qualified debt counsellor just to make sure you have all angles covered.
