  1. I buy my jeans on ebay, and one of the things I have to ask is the information written on the tag, including style number, because I am looking to replace a specific pair.  Also, since sizing has changed over the years, it helps to know approximately when the jeans were originally purchased.   (For instance, a size 6 from 10 years ago is now a size 2.)  You should also be specific about any frays, holes, or worn spots (and try to photo those areas too).  It also helps a great deal to know the length of the inseam.  Be sure to say if they  are straights, flairs or boot cut.

Hope this helps!  Good luck with your selling!

  2. Read the descriptions that some other sellers of similar items have written. Decide which ones appeal to you. Make yours like theirs -- but not enough so it looks like you're copying.

  3. ~~I appreciate an honest description as well as actual measured waist size and leg length. Sometimes jeans shrink and even though it may be my size I would be hesitant to buy them without actual measurements.~~
